Chelsea agree £50m front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Infinite Athlete

Chelsea have sealed a lucrative shirt sponsorship deal worth £50 million per season with American tech company Infinite Athlete, according to Lukasz Baczek.

Both parties await the nod from Premier League authorities to give the green light to this collaboration so that Chelsea’s 23/24 kits can carry a sponsor logo.

The buzz around this deal began to swirl as rumours leaked from the club’s pre-season media day and ignited speculation among Chelsea’s fanbase on social media.

The fans will be hoping to see the Blues wear their new branded kit for the first time in their Premier League opener against Liverpool this coming Sunday.

The women’s team are also part of the deal. As they gear up to face AS Roma in their first pre-season friendly next month, they’ll showcase the Infinite Athlete emblem.

The journey towards this contract has spanned months, ending Chelsea’s quest for a new shirt sponsor after their association with mobile phone giant Three concluded at the end of last season.

Beyond its financial implications, this deal is a timely boost for owner Todd Boehly and his consortium, fortifying the club’s financial standing.

Infinite Athlete’s ambitions transcend the conventional as they set their sights on becoming a force in football.

With offerings ranging from affordable player data solutions for clubs to immersive fan experiences via multi-angle game viewing, Infinite Athlete has already established a formidable presence in the sports sphere.

Their successful ventures with the NFL and the US Collegiate Pac-12 Conference underscore their prowess.

For Chelsea Chief Executive Officer Chris Jurasek, this momentous deal marks an exhilarating new chapter for the club.

Jurasek will particularly be delighted as he came in to bring in new sponsors after the club parted ways with former President of Business Tom Glick.
