Chelsea confirm pre-season games ahead of 2024-25 season

Chelsea have announced their pre-season games as they start preparations for the 2024-25 season.

The Blues will once again travel to the United States of America to play five exciting fixtures at five different venues. Football fans can gather all the information about all Premier League preseason fixtures.

They will begin their campaign by taking on Wrexham at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Thursday, July 25.

Their next friendly is scheduled against Scottish giants Celtic on July 27 at Notre Dame Stadium before their meeting with Club America at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 1.

Ohio Stadium in Columbus will be the venue for Chelsea’s blockbuster clash with Manchester City two days later.

They will then go head-to-head with La Liga giants Real Madrid on Wednesday, August 7 at Bank of America Stadium before hosting Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge in their final pre-season fixture.

The West London giants mutually parted company with Mauricio Pochettino in May after a largely underwhelming 2023-24 campaign saw them finishing sixth in the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca, who led Leicester City to the Championship title, is now at the helm at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian boss is relatively inexperienced but his attractive style of football is said to have appealed to the Blues.

Maresca now faces the challenging task of getting his side into Europe’s elite club competition.
