Chelsea Women debut Infinite Athlete kit in 2-1 win over Tottenham

Chelsea Women marked a triumphant start to their Women’s Super League campaign by defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Stamford Bridge while debuting their Infinite Athlete kit.

The Blues recorded their opening victory of the season, and the first appearance of the Infinite Athlete emblem on their shirts following a reported £40 million deal.

Lifelong Chelsea fan and new signing Mia Fishel ignited the Stamford Bridge crowd with a stunning opener. Lauren James followed suit with another goal.

Martha Thomas managed to pull one back for Tottenham in the second half. The goal injected a glimmer of hope for the visitors, but it was ultimately too little too late as Chelsea held on for the win.

The excitement continues to brew at Stamford Bridge as the Infinite Athlete logo will grace Chelsea’s 23/24 kits for the men in their upcoming Premier League clash against Fulham tonight.

This development is particularly significant for the club. They started the current Premier League season without a shirt sponsor following the end of their previous partnership with Three this summer.

Chelsea’s quest to secure a new sponsor has been a rollercoaster ride, with thwarted proposals and stalled negotiations.

Paramount and Stake were among the potential suitors, but it was Infinite Athlete that emerged victorious, securing exclusive rights to feature their logo on Chelsea’s jerseys.

Chelsea Women’s triumphant start to their Women’s Super League campaign, combined with the debut of their Infinite Athlete kit, has set a resounding tone for the season ahead.

The men will hope to follow suit tonight against the Cottagers. The Blues will be desperate for a win after winning only one of their opening six Premier League games.

They will be buoyed by their recent victory against Brighton & Hove Albion in the League Cup and hope to bring that winning spirit to the London derby as they showcase their new kits.
